The Y Group studied the Holocaust. In addition to reading, Elie Wiesel’s novel, Night, students became “witnesses” to this tragedy by watching films, reading short stories and poetry, and visiting the Holocaust museum.

For the 2nd year, Jeff Popp, from the Terrapin Institute, dropped off three new Diamondback Terrapins for students in Jemicy Middle School to care for; they will be released into the water later in the year.

Dr. Jeffrey Swab, a chemist and father of Y Group student Brian, spent the day of November 15th teaching several middle school science classes at Jemicy School.
