After graduating from Jemicy, I attended Boys’ Latin and then went on to undergraduate school at the University of Delaware. I always joked with my roommate in college because I could never figure out the Scantrons used to register for classes, so I just filled out whatever he filled out. He was a psychology major, so therefore, I was too.Carla Dobry '11
Carla Dobry ’11 (US) is currently a freshman at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida. At Jemicy’s graduation ceremony this past May, Carla was one of the essayists. Her words from that day reflect upon her Jemicy journey and her outlook for the future.David Burkhouse '86
My brother William Burkhouse and I attended Jemicy during the 1980’s. He graduated in 1985 and went on to high school at Mount Saint Joseph, while I left Jemicy in 1985 to attend 8th grade at Patapsco Middle School, prior to attending high school, like him, at Mount Saint Joseph.Julie Kuhn '00
After Jemicy, I moved on to Glenelg Country School for a half of a year. However, it was not the right fit for me, and I ended up at Centennial High School in Howard County and loved it. While I was there, I had the opportunity to be the captain of the Color Guard team during my junior and senior years, and at the same time, participated in many of the school’s musicals and hung out with friends in different school clubs.
